Come Learn about Piedmont Grown…

Come Learn about Piedmont Grown…

…a regional branding and marketing program for food and farm products that are grown, raised, and made in the Piedmont of North Carolina.

We are particularly interested in farmers who are interested in branding their products as Piedmont Grown.  However, we welcome participation from local food system businesses and organizations who are interested in a regional branding and marketing effort.  In addition to farmers, we look forward to partnering with Farmers Markets, Wholesalers, Retailers, Restaurants, Caterers, Artisan Food Producers, Universities, Institutions & Schools, Hospitals & Nursing Homes, and Distributors.  In addition, supporting organizations can also be partners in this effort.

Our program will involve a certification mark that will let consumers know that a product was grown, raised, or made in the Piedmont Region.  Details about the criteria will be discussed at the meetings and available on our website in the coming weeks.  This effort is initially focused on the Triad and Triangle regions of the Piedmont, but we welcome participation from farmers and local food system businesses across the Piedmont Region.
